The latest in the shop

"Do You have the Time" necklace

Just showing off some of the new bling in my shop!
I have so many supplies, as I mentioned in my last post, that sometimes I just don't know where to start. My goal is to actually start USING those supplies, instead of collection them, creating more dust bunnies was not my original intention.
Above is an Alice in Wonderland themed necklace. I call it the "Do you have the time" necklace.

This my "Heart on a String" necklace.
One of my favorite color combinations is red and baby blue, which I used in both of these!
It just makes things seem more vintagey to me!

pardon me

Hi my friends, pardon my absenteeism here..but someone has to take care of the coupon clipping and coffee drinking around!
Actually...haven't been doing a whole lot of coupon clipping, though I always have the intention...
coffee drinking..that is a different story now. I bought a pound of Starbucks Italian roast at the store this week. There is nothing (much) better in this world than waking up and having myself a cup of that Starbuck's joe!..I do believe they have a very secret and addictive type of coffee bean that is added to their product.
Today was a day off..followed by another two days off, which gave me an excuse to totally beat myself up and go on a long run. Today was an 11 miler...a slow 11 miler as at mile 2 I felt sick and wanted to call hubby for a ride home, but instead just took my time and eventually felt fine.
There is a marathon in Albany in February that I am thinking about running. I think I will train for it, but not decided for sure until a few days before!! Lol..lord knows what the weather will be like then. I guess it is a low key race, and only about 100 runners actually run or finish it....like I said..just thinking about it! This because of the fact that I am planning on being in the crowd of runners next fall for the ING NYC marathon, as long as I am picked out of a lottery next April!..So I am a little antsy to get going on the training...antsy...not a new thing for me.
I am also cleaning out my purse closet..and cleaning off my purse wall.
(I hang vintage purses on my studio wall, they are soo cute!)
The problem being is I keep finding more vintage purses to bring home. So to make room for the new "old", I am selling my old "old"...I have starting posting them on ebay..as tears role down my face!!! I need a whole purse room then I would keep them ALL!!!
Oh well, we all have our vices right?? (purses, jewelry supplies, wine, coffee, vintage aprons...lazy mornings at the computer: drinking coffee..surrounded by jewelry supplies..with my vintage purse wall behind me..)..oh and Jodi Picoult books...but don't get my hubby started on that one..many a nights he is ignored all because of Ms. Picoult...what can I say..she writes REALLY well!

Post note..a repeat blog pic if you have been here for a while..sorry..no new jewelry this week!

Ahh..back at my blog...sigh....have missed it, as usual!
I have been a busy, busy blogger, though not busy blogging!
First of all, I have my 2011 calendar finished.
Click "here" to preview and purchase.

I have also been working on this broken china bracelet, it was just finished today.
I am so drawn to vintage cameos. Placing them in the middle of broken china links just displays them gorgeously. I love the vintage feeling this creates.

I also had a custom order for some sweetly colored lime green earrings and bracelets.
They are all boxed up and ready for their trip to Florida!
Soon to be worn by 16 young girls from a theater company.

And to top the day off, I had my first ever childrens photo shoot!
It was very, very hectic..but so much fun! I often forget how quiet my house is, until I visit a house in which a young toddler resides! I miss the chaos and silly laughter sometimes. My sons are 20 and 22. One lives in with us, the other is about an hour away, so no more pitter patter of little feet here! So I always enjoy hearing giggling little children when I visit friends homes.
Anyways, I have been pulling the photos up on my laptop and am pretty pleased with how they came out. But right now I am suffering from a sore neck from sitting here so long! I guess it is time for a little break! Until next time!
Until next time my friends!
